José Augusto (property owner) wonderfully told the story of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, how he wrote not only “O Pequeno Principe” but many other books. The place is very comfy, the visit through his living room (in which there are many furnitures, collectable items and versions of the book “O Pequeno Principe”) and his little gift shop is very nice. Since i didn’t have an appointment I couldn’t visit when we tried the first day. However, we did make an appointment for the next day and we could visit. Even though the price seems a bit high, its totally worth it!

I would love to come back!

Myself and my wife visited the the place and we were so pleased with the owners, their care for the place (and region) and for this piece of aviation and literature history that seems to be fading each day. We had so great discussions about the writer, aspects of our local history and so much more that time just flew pleasantly and made us want to come back again.
It’s really worth it to visit and discover that part of our history and, especially, to share time with such wonderful hosts.

My wife and I visited this charming little cottage on an exuberantly-landscaped hillside, mainly due to the reviews on this site, and we were not disappointed. Sitting on the pleasant front veranda, the owner told us about the history of the French airmail service which brought Saint Exupery and other pilots to this small slice of paradise in the mountains outside of Rio de Janeiro. In a world of 15-second videos and 280-character messages, it was SOOO refreshing to experience someone spending 45 minutes to slowly unwind a good story. A very enjoyable way to spend a morning.

We were in the house where the author of the Pequeno Príncipe stayed to relax a bit of his flights around Brazil.
There you can see and feel a lot of St Exupery's lived history as a pilot of this Aeropostále route.
My wife and I have already arranged to return with friends to return.

I recommend the visit it's a fantastic place!

The museum itself is kind of interesting and the reception good too.
I think the price of 25 reais is a little over what one should expect.
Overall I think it was worthwhile.

In a hidden place by a federal highiway you can find this place. There will gonna meet the owner who will explain all the history of the the beggining of the aviation and the doundation of the aeropostale and air france. That was the place where the first pilot of the history used to sleep and have partys before they continue their joruneys.
