Stunning view over the czech forrest. It is not an easy walk so be prepared to suffer: from the car parking to the top you have to walk about 4,5 kilometers steep path. On the to there's a nice restaurant where to rest and eat White enjoying the view. Minus: back to the valley i found very strange the many... More

Unfortunately just saw a glimpse of this but all worth it. Did a day trip from Prague and I would suggest get the earliest train ( 6 am Ish) from Praha so you could make it on time to Decin and get access to the bus that has a restricted though regular schedule. The access / hike to Pravcicka Brana... More

Bohemian Switzerland offers breathtaking views and well-maintained hiking trails on both sides. There is a stunning gorge that can be seen by boat. We stopped on the way back from Dresden to Prague and really enjoyed our time spent in the park.

I visited this area last autumn. We walked through the wilderness for a while. Then we took a boat trip which runs in between hilly places. After that, we started to go up. After almost 1 hour we reached the top. Surprisingly, although it was a cloudy day, as we reached the top of the hill it became sunny. I... More

Our trip to the Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland National Park last week was absolutely the best day tour that we have ever taken. The natural beauty of the parks on both sides of the border are almost indescribable, and pictures just can't do the very special and beautiful place justice. Tall sandstone spires stand in silent testimony of the brilliance... More

We took a tour where our guide fetch us from prague. 2.5hrs later, we reached the foot of the nature park. It was all golden with autumn leaves now and not many park-goer. This means we can take a leisure walk to slowly appreciate the surrounding. We had fun trekking in the park and it was a easy trek. We... More

Of the 3 weeks we spent driving around the Czech Republic, Bohemian Switzerland was a definite highlight of our trip. As we wanted to fully experience the country, hiking through the park was a wonderful contrast to big-city Prague. Bohemian Switzerland offers beautiful views and well-maintained hiking trails that lead up to a striking sandstone arch that has become the... More

Fun and easy walk up to see the arch, it is also not as difficult to get there from Prague by public transport as most people think. The hike is enjoyed by people of all ages, although there are rocks that jut out from the ground. Wear comfortable shoes. Public transport route from Prague: Prague Main railway station > Decin... We spent a hole day walking and sailing on boat through the park. We parked one car in Hrensko and second car in Mezna (or you can take a bus back if you only have 1 car). We took the green trail from Hrensko and walked about 1.5km in beautiful views, then sailed on a Canu for about 30min, walked... More
