The gardens are beautiful and so peaceful. They are amazingly well tended and worth wandering through. Be sure to go to the back and see the spinning theater, impressive engineering.

Lovely setting and a beautiful fountain. This is a nice place to take a stroll and to take amazing pictures. I would highly recommend taking the time to walk to the top of the hill and see these gardens. Then, treat yourself with the most...More

We are traveling with our daughter who had read that a picnic in the gardens was popular with locals. After we went up the castle tower, we walked up to the gardens and had our picnic in the sun on one of the many benches....More

Funny thing about every garden space and park we encountered throughout the Czech Republic. They were all decidedly unkempt. Tall grass and weeds growing everywhere. The Castle Gardens was no exception.

Instead of hiking up to the gardens we actually met our private guide here to begin our tour. The gardens are very beautiful and I really liked the fountain. Lots of open green space to spend an afternoon people watching or reading a book.

Recently toured the Castle in Cesky Krumlov. We walked up this steep hill to reach the Castle Garden. It was worth the effort, really something to see.

The gardens were expansive, but in the month of May, I was expecting to see more in bloom. It was a little disappointing, but the castle visit made up for it!

We loved the garden. It was quiet and very tranquil. Do bring an umbrella as there are hardly any shelter. At the centre of the garden there is a Neptune Fountain, which is still working. We took a good rest at the Fountain as it...More

Nice walk and would nearly describe it off the beaten path. Never met more then a few couples in the park. It is clean and quiet. As well if you are lucky you may get a chance on the outdoor theatre scene.
