It was unique experience to explore underground passages. It takes 10 minutes to walk to Pilsner Urquell Brewery, so good to have combined tour.

This tour is run by the city's underground society. It is cool to see all the old tunnels that run under the city and get to know the history. I recommend doing the tour if you are in town.

We had a great tour guide. She was new to the English language, but did a great job explaining the historical significance of the tunnels. Very fascinating to see how it all works!

You would never know an elaborate tunnel system lies beneath the the old town of Plzen. You will explore this labyrinth with your informative guide as she explains the life of 13th century residents living and working below ground.

One of the great experiences to have while in Pilsen. You will get to learn more about the city's past, what were the uses of the tunnels, their connected history to the beer, hidden breweries, invasion defense etc. Our tour guide Jan was very knowledgeable...More

To tell the truth, I was under-informed going into this journey. Because it's attached to the Brewery Museum, and the original brewing industry was housed in the Underground, I thought the tour would be brewing-based. It's not! If you want to learn about the history...More

It was very nice visit, the guide had a lot of interesting information for us about the history of the city and the underground itself. There is lot of light everywhere so not that claustrophobic.and is not that narrow..some spots only..

Entry to this guided tour is just a block away from the central square. Tours are offered daily in Czech, english, and German, but if you take the Czech tour, you'll get a head-set with translations in several other languages. The tunnels under the city...More

An excellent insight into the city's medieval history, especially when you also do the main museum above ground. The tour (in English, German, Italian, French, etc.) is genuinely informative, and my guide was actually named Jan Hus!!!

The area was constructed in the middle ages and is multiple levels. During sieges, people could move between homes safely. There were also wells. Functionally, the below grade location was ideal for storing food and beer... More
