It is a bit chilling and even scary to hear about life under the Communist regime. This tour for us, followed a morning visit to the Communist Museum, so we had learnt about the propaganda everyone was subjected to and the scare tactics concerning everything to do with the West, especially the USA. We had heard a brief history of... More

In my opinion ne of the most interesting in tour in Prague. You can buy a ticket at the ticket office located in a little passage opposite to the Hard Rock Cafe, that includes tram transport and visit at the bunker. Our guide James was brilliant and everything was clear even for my boyfriend and I that we are Italians... More

It was a very informative tour about Communism in Prague and what the people had to go through during that time. Saw plenty of historical landmarks and moments on the way to the bunker. I was able to see first hand what it would have been like to stay in that bunker and I agree with our excellent guide Katerina... More

At first I thought it was just a nuclear bunker tour, but learned a lot more about Communism in the Czech Republic under Soviet rule. Well worth the money. Katerina was very well informed, never felt rushed.

My 2 teenage boys thought this was the best thing we did on our second trip to Prague. Katerina was our guide and she was very informative explaining how communism has impacted her country. You gotta see the nuclear bunker to believe it, it's not like in the movies, this is the real thing. The first half of the tour... More

I love history.... but you don't have to be a fan to enjoy this tour.... I knew little of Pragues history before arriving except it was part of the Holy Roman Empire,it was a communist state, it's has good beer and it's popular with stag parties.... ok I was ignorant! Our tour guide " Michael" started the tour just discussing... More

This is a great walking tour. Katerina was our guide and first, she took us to visit a few sites around Prague, where she explained the important and historic events that occurred there. Then we took a tram (included in the price) to the bunker. Katerina provided a very thoughtful and insightful explanation of what we were seeing and answered... More

This tour was well worth the low fee. It included a very knowledgeable tour guide and visit to an old nuclear bunker.

After 3 days we'd done the obvious tourist things in Prague- and thoroughly enjoyed them- but wanted to experience the darker Prague. Our Hotel had never sold a Communism & Bunker Tour before... but the following morning we gathered at the Powder Tower and set off on a fascinating 3 hour meander around the town. Our guide Klara was peppy... More

I just went on the Communism and Nuclear Bunker tour with my family and it was definitely a highlight of our trip. Katerina was our tour guide and she was extremely efficient and informative. Not only did we hear lot of useful information about Czech Republic's history but the bunker really blew me away. I wasn't expecting such a mind... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
