A centrally located monument at the corner of the square, probably passed by many on the way to the Jewish Quarter. Our tour looked at the house from the outside, so we did not go inside.

This monument of the famous writer, Kafka, is very centrally located, yet it is easily missed by many, who either cannot find it or don't care to look at it. It's certainly worth a couple of minutes of your time while in the square.

This momument was on my must see in Prague list because I like Franz Kafka works. Beside, it is a perceft example of modern monument and it is so kafkaesque. Love it.

Stop by, take a look at the statue, take a picture, look around sheepishly, take another picture, walk away. That is about right for 90% of tourists who come by and you may find it true for you, too. Statue is based on the content...More

The statue here of Franz kafka is very unusual, but interesting. It is situated right in the Jewish Quarter right next to the Holy Spirit Church.

We stopped by there as we saw a tour guide talking to some people about this very unique statue. The story behind the statue was as interesting as it looked. Nice place to take a few pics as well.

Kafka to me is a man who spent his life trying to interpret the struggles of class, particularly working class being subservient to society and the upper classes. So ironic in the fact, that all around you can go and spend your money on all...More

This is a statue to commemorate Kafka. It is very unusual but I was told that it represents two stories written by Kafka. many people stop to have their photo taken here so it can get busy.

The birthplace, the statue and the Jewish Quarter in general are all fascinating. We really enjoyed the Kafka Snob Food as a great place to have a treat and wonderful coffee.

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents
the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is
bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický
square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle
in the background, is probably the most beautiful
square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere
of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and
squares, and stone towers blend together with the
