One of the symbols of Prague, the Church of the Virgin Mary Before Tyn is the dominant feature in the Old Town. The church was built in the 14th century and used to be a primary place of worship for foreign merchants visiting the city.

This structure has interesting piece of history, one of the tower is slightly bigger then other one. Looks beautiful when sun rays fall on it.

Yes, look carefully at the 2 towers. One of them is smaller. Yes, they ran out of money and finished with a smaller one. Called 'Adam' and 'Eve' (by our guide). Not the nicest church on the inside but still very impressive.

Construction began in the 14th century in the late Gothic style. The roof was completed in the 1450s. The southern tower was not completed until 1511. Dark. Square layout is not appealing. Roped off in back and no photos allowed. Exterior spires are very nice...More
