We walked up here by accident. I first wanted to take the tram up but we walked around the park below and then we were up the hill. Then we decided to climb up the tower as well. We took the stairs, which is doable....More

For me maybe because I was on Eifel Tower it's not to much interesting place. We was on the top of the hill and want to see beautifull sights but you can see them only from Petrin tower. We was in rose garden where we...More

Is good to take a stroll at the park (either up/down) and also try taking funicular, both offered great scenery. By taking funicular to reach the hill top, you have to alight at the second stop. However, for those with weaker legs, is better to...More

Absolutely worth of 150kr when you get to walk about 300 stairs up and see this amazing view of wonderful Prague. Also possible to use lift with +60kr, but there probably will be small queue with good weather.

Take funicular to go on top. If you are in good condition climb on the top of "tower"- From top you will have great view of Prague. If you are not in good condition take funicular to first station where is restaurant with great view.

Great views of the city. Many park benches and grassy areas to sit and relax. Places to get snacks and drinks.

Based on the original Eiffel Tower, it is much smaller in size and stature, but provides excellent views. Great picture spot.

The view at the top is well working the climb and the fee! Plus they've set it up nicely so you shouldn't run into anyone going the other direction (unless you or someone else goes the wrong way).

Spent a very hot (30 degrees) afternoon wandering the pathways around the park. The Hunger Wall wasn't anything special, but the park itself was OK. Watch out for the 'deaf/mute girl' scam in case you're approached!

Hi everyone. I'm going to visit Prague next month and interested to visit the Petrin Tower. I'm wondering if it is possible to drive to this tower please, is there any car park for visitors up there? Thank you.

Hello, Yes you can park nearby, find street called "Jezdecka" and park there. It's free and it's pretty close to the tower.

I don't know if you can do that but it is really easy to get around Prague on public transport. You can buy passes for various numbers of days at two kiosks at the airport. The longer ones are really good value but you will... More
