It was not too far from where I stayed and the train station which was my next destination, so I decided to pay this museum a visit. As a musician, it was nice to learn about the Dvorak's life - see things and read about...More

Visited this small museum in Prague on our Easter family trip . I must admit I knew almost nothing about Dvorak the great classical Czech composer of the late 19th early 20th century until visiting here but this place certainly provided me with an excellent...More

We arrived at 4.30 to be told they were closed. Obviously a regular occurrence so be warned! Sneaked a peak through windows!

but interesting place. The house isn't the one that Dvorak stayed in, but the Dvorak foundation own this and has placed the Dvorak museum in this old but beautiful building. The garden needs some attention, and the museum is very small, not a lot to...More

It's a small museum across 2 floors of a stately building, but it gave good insights into the key milestones of Dvorak's life as a musician and composer. Unlike many of composers' museums, Dvorak didn't actually live here but in the next street. Nevertheless, you...More

Amazing look into this most wonderous composer's life and work. Placed on a side street of of Sokolska, it is eady to miss, but it is a must, especially if you like Dvorak and/or classical music, but not only!! Incredibly well-priced as well!

The ‘Wonderful Dvorak’ concert (at 8:00 some nights) is an amazing must-see event. The museum opens at 7:30, and is included in the concert ticket. This is all the time you need to spend at the museum. The recital hall is upstairs, and is for...More

Was a spontaneous discovery. Having been my last day in Prague, I was hoping to find something to do. The Dvorak Museum was an opportunity to learn more about Czech's most famous composer and an insight into his life. A beautiful building, it's pink exterior...More

As a lover of Dvorak's music, I found this museum a delight. Even my husband, who is not a fan of music in general, found it interesting. (He shares Dvorak's love of trains!) The exhibits were well labelled and had English translations. Well worth the...More

Very cheap to get in. Spent an interesting hour learning about Dvorak which was very enjoyable. Not close to anything else so you need to make a special journey.

Just Google 'Dvorak Museum' then the information is shown in English. We really recommend the concert they give; the actual museum is not that much to see.
