We arrived as the afternoon sun was lighting up one side of the square and it was a spectacular sight. This place is quite historic and worth a half day visit. There is pretty decent shopping throughout the square and an adult beverage or tasty...More

This town was reconstructed after a fire in the 16th century. They used Italian masons which gives it a Romanesque feel. Nice place to visit

Was there only for a few hours as we were at a Spa resort nearby. The town square is colorful and postcard picture perfect and we found an afternoon was plenty time to visit and stop for lunch. Recommend - Cafe Friends for lunch, daily...More

Charming little town absolutely worth a visit. Probably even more fun in warmer weather with scenic bycicle routs in the area. The caslte is a must for visiting!

Just beautiful. It is a neglected city for the tourists coming in to the Chek Republic although it is one of the most beautiful cities in the country recognized ashistorical sight by Unesco.

Stopped here for lunch on our way to Prague. Beautiful old town square with lots of picturesque colorful buildings. Reminded of other places we visited -- Bratislava and Posnan, Poland. Buildings date back 250 years with shops and restaurants on the ground floor. Worth visiting!

Telč is a small town located in the southern part of Bohemia in the area called Vysočina. As you pass through this region it breathes on you the atmosphere of smaller hills with plenty of ponds in their valleys. The hills are still low enough...More

Telc had the "fortune" of burning down in 1530. The emperor invited masons from Italy to rebuild the town, and all the buildings around the rather large town square is from the mid-1500s. How cool is that! There's a moat around the town centre, and...More

This is the thing to see in Telç. Wonderfully renovated houses in various styles lined up around a central court yard. The cars parked are a nuance to photographer. We came off season so the place was empty with nothing much happening.

I went by bus from Florenz bus terminal. It took about 3 hours. (Along the way, there was a bathroom break)
