Prague is such a beautiful city, built on hills and either side of a grand river. But 1 hour's drive from the city there is a darker memory - ex-concentration camp Mal Pevnost at Terezin. Holocaust deniers should be forced to spend a day at...More
The Small Fortress (and it's small only in comparison) is a highlight of any trip to Terezin. My friends and I opted to do the self-guided tour (the brochure for which costs 5 crowns), which let us do the walk about the site at our...More
The tour provided alot of detailed information that filled in what this camp and prison was used for by the Nazis during their occupation and terror in this community. It was up close and intense and very informative.
This place is truly horrendous..The poor people here...I don’t think anyone will ever truly understand the horrors they went through...To think this was only 70 years ago that these awful practices took place..I will never forget what I saw and thank you so much to...More
Visited as part of Pavel Batel's Terezin tour. It is absolutely mind blowing and the untold horrors of the site will stay with you for some time. Be prepared with walking boots as the site is largely untouched. Recommended to all.

Though this is a sobering...More
Small fortress was the best part of the Terrazin concentration tour package I booked in October. Our tour guide was exceptional (she worked at Terrazin and was not our guide from Prague). She was passionate and informative and seemed to take great care in conveying...More

Hi there the takes about two hours and the travel time depends on the location you are staying. We was staying in Prague central so it was about 45-50 mins on the coach. The guide was amazing and very knowledgable.
