Being located in Centrum, the place is to be cherished by people of all age and gender, Olomouc town hall has historical (astronomical clock), political (city's mayor office) and commercial (showrooms and various shops) relevance. You can also see some artists around playing musics. Overall, a beautiful panorama and a place worth to visit.

the town hall is at the centre of the old square with many very interesting features - the building itself is of architectural interest with the added attraction of the astronomical clock, and the courtyard can be visited as well. the whole surrounding area is of great interest and for music lovers there is the place where mozart and his... This building contains the tourist office so it is worth a visit first thing. Inside are maps and post cards. We didn't have much luck finding post cards in this town.

The town hall has an astronomical clock on its front side that was destroyed by the Nazi and rebuilt during the post war years with a communist influence and theme. The nearby plague tower, the largest anywhere, has a very interesting history. This entire central square is clean and beautiful. There is also an information center and an Italian restaurant... Did not get to see the inside of the building as at the time it was being used for a wedding. The impressive thing was although the area around is pedestrian only. The Wedding car and others were allowed to park on the cobbles outside the office. Lovely place for photos. Sorry I did take some pics but all have... More

Located in the large main square, this building towers over nearby fountains. Added attraction is an interesting astronomical clock. There is a small information center where you can get a free map, an Olomouc stamp for you "tourist" passport, or use a computer. Few souveniers are for sale also.

This is a nice building with some interesting architecture design. Nonetheless, the most famous thing must be the astronomical clock at its front. Really relaxing to sit in the old square watching the clock and the buildings nearby.

Olomouc become on of our favourite city in Czech Republic, hidden by distance from Prague although so easily reachable by train ( we hop on yellow one and it was great, just 2 hours from Prague, but felt much nicer then usual destinations around Prague such Kutna hora, or Pilsen ) City hall is located in the heart of main... This year (2016) I was in the fair city of Olomoc. I was there 3.-5. of May and I experienced a feeling of the past and the present. I alway go to the Town Square as the fist thing. I stood still for some time and listened to people speaking in Czeck from a rostrum. I asked what happend and... More

You should go there for at least three reasons: a - located in the very heart of the town, b - it houses the information centre, c - you can take part in the organized walk, climb up the tower and study historic expositions inside the building. This building is really beautiful and they serve a really good ice coffee... More
