If you're in Gdansk this will be one of the first things you'll want to visit. It's a part of the European Solidarity Centre. Very impressive

A truly epic monument to a truly epic event. I wish courage and perseverence was immortalised in this way everywhere. Sadly it isn't - which is why this monument deserves our respect.

To visit this monument is to really get a sense of the history of shipbuilding workers in this city. It is literally a towering monument and one not to miss.

Monument remembering shipyard workers killed during strike in 1970. Tall crosses overlook the Town and remember women and families waiting for their MEN which just go to work like on each ordinary day...

If you want to see big part history of Gdansk, Poland, world you need to go and see this place. This monument is located outside the famous gate number 2 of shipyard. Next to it is Eropean Solidarity Center which is also worth seeing.
