Just loved Gdansk-the buildings were so ornate with head turning swirls during strolls. It's not overly commercial-and I so hope it stays that way!!

The old town is in a relatively small area. You can walk everywhere witin it in one day. Lots of nice coffee shops and restaurants. No shortage of impressive churches and historical buildings.

The tourist office is staffed by extremely helpful friendly staff. They actually pointed us in the direction of Sopot and Gydnia, which... More

Had a great time learning about this area. We enjoyed some great eating establishments, went to the amber museum and learned about how the river was vital to trade. Great little area!
