if you like history

I found it interesting and worthy to spend couple of hours if you history lower. Take opportunity to visit a restaurant and have a nice walk in the city.

I was in Gdynia I for 5 days and admire architecture and beautiful views. The museum is great. Even my hotel I really liked, because of the great service and high comfort Neptun Hotel http://hotelewam.co.uk/617-hotel-neptun-gdynia.html

Fridays are free entry day at this museum. Regular admission is 7PLN per adult or 4PLN per child. If you have children or are particularly interested in the history of Gdynia, absolutely visit the City of Gdynia Museum. If not, you are not missing much by skipping it. The museum is interactive, modern, and offers some pretty interesting exhibits. There... More

Worth a trip to this Museum. On the seaside. My Grandparents home was situated on this spot, and before the new museum was built they used the old family home and surrounds. Full of interesting History of the development of Gdynia City and the building of this strategic Port and its importance in the onset of the Second World War.

I am probably bias here, as many of the items came from Plymouth Devon England. and also several of the ex naval gentlemen have donated their medals etc, to the museum. there is a seat that was sent over to Gdynia from Plymouth, it used to be up the road in what is called Plymouth Square, also a red telephone,... I previously visited this museum 4 years ago not long after it first opened. At that time, although it wasn't quite finished, it was very enjoyable and had better exhibits than it now has. There used to be an interesting exhibition that told the story of the "Solidarity" movement, but that has now gone. The museum which is free on... More
