Great family experience

Very interesting experience. Very informative exhibition of below the deck with clear view of all the machinery allowing one to imagine the life there during the sea missions. Highly recommended. It’s also an interesting fact that destroyer Błyskawica saved the Isle or Wight during the 2nd WW!

There is no sense to go inside, but you can make some photos outside.

This battle ship is a museum now. For kids it can be fun to go on board but for me pictures are enough.

Immaculately presented and preserved. Just to look at it is a pleasure.

We went to look at this beautiful ship knowing that it was closed.
It is in remarkable condition, paint spick and span, brassswork gleaming and the "crew" in impeccable uniform.
Every detail seems to be correct, torpedo, depth charges, anti-aircraft guns etc.
Its history is inscribed in stone on the dockyard.
Would love to return when it is open again.i

One of the most famous place in Gdynia. The ship was built before II World War. It have been decorated with the Virtuti Militari, Poland's highest military order for gallantry.
Very nice place especially for children and those who are interested in history on army.

Built on the Isle of Wight.

Four years living on the Isle of Wight, history comes full circle for me. And to think the ship survived WW2, when so much was lost. This is an absolute must see, fantastic walk around history In particular the engine room is epic.

Just sort of fits, as she sits there among the tall ships and private yachts. This vessel is held in most high regard, so visitors need to respect that.
The story of here escape and the story of her service, kind of describes the whole countries experience, so I can quite easily see her importance a relevance

This is a sister ship to ORP Grom. Both were build before WW II and took part in all major naval operations in the Atlantic during WW II. It is a must see for anyone who visits Gdynia.

We found this by surprise in Gdynia. It was a nice hour's wander around. Interesting to hear it had helped save the Isle of Wight. It was nice to learn all about how it had been used.
