We suggest you to start this tour at Kazimierz – the former Jewish district – to understand the Jews, their religion, customs and culture and their role in Europe. A visit to Kazimierz presents a unique opportunity to see how the Jewish community...more
My partner and I recently visited Schindlers factory. At first, we thought we were going to the actually factory but the factory is no longer in use and it’s now a museum. Don’t let this put you off. We had a tour guide (young, blonde...More
We probably rated this equal to visiting Auschwitz. Had pre-booked tickets so we were able to avoid having to join the queues. Not just the story of Oscar Schindler's fantastic intervention in protecting some of the children, but details of the Nazi occupation were explained.
We went to Auschwitz the day before and wanted to see the factory as well whilst in Krakow. We watched the film the week before and hoped to see more of the factory. It is just a museum, lots to read but not for us.
I have never seen the movie but knew the story this museum is about more than oskar schindler but about the whole Nazi occupation very interesting well worth a visit long lines outside waiting in minus 6 degrees so pre book or get there early...More
Don't waste your time on the Schindler's List Tours. Complete waste of time and money. It's a claustrophobic unauthentic maze packed full of tourist cheezy fake artifacts and loud music. We couldn't get out of there fast enough.

We visited the museum before going to Auschwitz, and I am so glad that I did it in that order, I learned so much and it made me prepared for what I was going to see. Everybody at some time in their life should go...More
