We suggest you to start this tour at Kazimierz – the former Jewish district – to understand the Jews, their religion, customs and culture and their role in Europe. A visit to Kazimierz presents a unique opportunity to see how the Jewish community...more
So glad we went here. The factory tour is excellent especially because of our guide who really made us think about the effect of Nazi occupation on the Polish people and the Jews in Krakow. Highly recommend it.
A very interesting place to see and full of meaningful and sad history but facts that everyone should know. It wasn’t quite what I was expecting but a definite must. My ownly criticism was it was very busy and you didn’t get chance to read...More
My partner and I recently visited Schindlers factory. At first, we thought we were going to the actually factory but the factory is no longer in use and it’s now a museum. Don’t let this put you off. We had a tour guide (young, blonde...More
We probably rated this equal to visiting Auschwitz. Had pre-booked tickets so we were able to avoid having to join the queues. Not just the story of Oscar Schindler's fantastic intervention in protecting some of the children, but details of the Nazi occupation were explained.
We went to Auschwitz the day before and wanted to see the factory as well whilst in Krakow. We watched the film the week before and hoped to see more of the factory. It is just a museum, lots to read but not for us.
I have never seen the movie but knew the story this museum is about more than oskar schindler but about the whole Nazi occupation very interesting well worth a visit long lines outside waiting in minus 6 degrees so pre book or get there early...More
Don't waste your time on the Schindler's List Tours. Complete waste of time and money. It's a claustrophobic unauthentic maze packed full of tourist cheezy fake artifacts and loud music. We couldn't get out of there fast enough.
It is worth a full day on its own. So much to see, read and think about. It has artifacts from the second world war, which some people may find upsetting. If you are easily upset then Do Not Visit. It is a fact that...More
I was rather disappointed with the visit to Schindler's Factory, nothing like our visit to Auschwitz which is a must. This is purely a museum, it details the Invasion of Poland and the Resistance movement but does not actually give any detail about what he...More
