Unique place

It is an amazing place to visit. Amazing underground trip allows to avoid terrible air pollution in małopolska during colder days.

Very interesting and historical place. Definitely worth a visit even though it's not as popular or as its sister mine Wieliczca., although it is around 40 years older. We also got to slide down a massive wooden slide!

One of the most unusual place I have ever been. Good for kids. If you have time take a chance and stay at night in the mine.

I've been there on extreme, normally not accessible, route. It goes deep enough with very tricky ladders, a lot of stairs and small spaces. If you like those kind of attractions, it's definitely for you. In the beginning we had also ridden a underground train, I wouldn't recommend it for claustrophobic people (unless someone like challenges). Also keep in mind... More

The Bochnia Salt Mine is the oldest salt mine in Poland with additional attractions such as a multimedia exposition especially appreciated by children.

Everybody goes to Wieliczka, which is of course great, but Bochnia salt mine is so much bigger and so much more fun for kids (and adults:)). The trip is entertaining, inter-active, and you learn all you ever wanted to know about mining, but not too much.

We chose a standard tour to the multimedia exposition plus a boat ride. It took us around 3,5 h to finish the tour. At the beginning it was kinda boring but eventually we discovered a long wooden slide and that was awesome!

We visited as a group of 3 (one couple and a friend) and as part of the tour we stayed overnight. The concept is great, the reality wasn't. The walking tour was more than 3 hours long, the guides only spoke Polish and nothing was translated into English - not even the information boards and signs. There are very few... More

We were there with our kids (age 8 and 5). The small train inside was nice, but after that there was just loads of walking and listening. They have new screens to find out about the history, but still it was quite boring. The main attraction is the long slide, which was a huge disappointment. You were supposed to sit... More

After having been down the Wieliczka Salt Mine we thought it would be nice to see somewhere different. This is not as big as its more famous partner. This mine is the original salt mine in this area. It is far, far quieter than its bigger partner. I really think it would be worth going on the behind the scenes... More
