The monument is nothing special, but the history of Silesian Uprisings is interesting, so it is just for beginning - to read some history of Silesia region.

The monument dates from 1967, a time when communist rule was not yet significantly challenged, but resentment and opposition was increasing. monument commemorates the Polish insurgents of the three Silesian Rebellions between 1919 and 1921. The imposing structure is shaped in the form of three eagle wings flapping and is interesting to take a look at.

Located right next to Spodek, so there's no way you can miss it. Apart from admiring the impressive monument I urge you to get to know the history behind it, crucial to understanding the identity of the region.

It's nice monument to see with great sorrounding views...the stadion and like. If you are in Wroclaw it is near the city center and in this case you should see it.
