The museum is very informative about the murderous activities of the nazis . It also highlights the effects of the soviet occupation too. The cells, with prisoners' inscriptions are very affecting and desperately tragic. It is worth visiting but is about 15 minutes walk from...More

Great museum that's worth a visit. Plan to spend about 90 minutes here, as others say it is on the small side but please don't let that put you off. The museum itself is very informative with lots to read and see. The cells are...More

This building could have so much more if it hadn't been turned into a hostel. What is there gave you an insight into the atrocities during the was with the German's and afterwards with the Russian's. It was a shame the cells were closed for...More

Visited after getting a ticket deal for this plus Oskar Schindler's factory and the pharmacy under the Eagle. It is a little walk away - about 20 mins from the main square but easy to find and worth the visit. Small museum and part of...More

There is a museum about the occupation of krakow with terrible tales from people of their experiences and details some of the noticeable people's lives. What makes this place is the prison with the inscriptions on the walls. Harrowing.

We had the impression that this would be a museum with much to see. But there was only one room with much text and posters, and one small room with the cell blocks. We finished the museum after 20 min. Missed more information on Gestapo...More

Don't remember exactly but it was cheap, only a couple of bucks. No need to pre book as there was hardly anyone there. Not a well known museum it seems.
