Large square with lovely central building selling amber jewellry and trinkets Has horse drawn carridges around the square and although im not keen to see these, the horses looked very healthy and well looked after. Lovely buldings and loads of old and new cafes and bars around the square with outside covers and burners which were toasty.

Lots of lovely cafes. Poland does the best hot chocolate. In the winter you can sit outside by the heaters with a blanket and people watch. Watch for the confidence tricksters and pickpockets though. I felt very safe but just be aware and keep your belongings safe.

The sun was shining the sky was blue. It was our first day and very impressed with the Market Square. We sampled a few beers, a couple of pizzas and a horse drawn carriage ride. Loved it!

An absolutely beautiful square. A very very fine example of a historic European market square. Surrounded by beautiful churches and a wide selection of classic architecture. Loads of fantastic restaurants and outside seating.
