A very interesting perspective of the history of Judaism in Poland & Kraków particularly. Lots of old artefacts and photographs and good simplified explanation of Jewish celebrations and community living for those who have limited knowledge of this faith. Worth a visit whilst in Kasimierz...More

This is the oldest synagogue in Krakow, it's now a museum, with some displays illustrating pre-war Jewish life and history. There's little co-ordination between the narratives in Krakow's synagogues, unlike Prague where each synagogue has a unique story to tell. So there's an inevitable repetition...More

For just a few zloty you can have a look around the Old Synagogue. Lots of exhibits to see. Beautifully embroidered panels and lots of silver items. This is not a huge place to look around but is worth it just the same.

A lot of exhibits in Poland that I saw had Polish inscriptions, so the English descriptions in this synagogue was a great find. Very detailed and information information boards. Very beautiful insides too, and it was surreal seeing the actual curtains that hung in front...More

What was one of the oldest Synagogues in Europe is now a museum looking at many aspects of the faith. Plenty of exhibits and some interactive displays, worth spending an hour looking around to learn more about the religion and it's practices

This is an old and nice looking synagogue with an extensive collection of Jewish artifacts inside. Well worth a 15-30 minute visit while strolling through the Jewish quarter.

We spent four days in Krakow and visited several times the jewish town. It is wonderful and lively. The old synagogue is newer than the Old new one in Prague, but it is very informative.
