Definitely worth a visit. Gets very crowded but there are some nice souvenirs inside. Lots of amber shops, and shops selling wool winter socks/slippers.

I absolutely loved the Cloth Hall. We really enjoyed shopping here. Such cute gifts of Krakow to be had and from what we found, they're much cheaper here than at proper gift shops.

The Hall is beautiful, but it is filled with a lot of awful souvenir shops. (like everywhere I suppose!). Some have saved the situation, but all those awful russion dolls make it too yucky. Shame

You could try but its not expensive so why bother, they are not extravagant people and are trying to earn a living. The whole area is magical you won't care aboutcthe prices.
