There are many beautiful churches in Kracow, this one is in the Jewish quarter. We visited the church while on a city tour from the Main square. The main alter is breathtaking, lots of gold and detail. I have never seen an altar like this and would be surprised if I ever came close to finding one like this again.

WHat a beautiful Church this is, such a comforting atmosphere, we were all astounded in the beauty of this church. Our guide Tomasz was so considerate with the time that we spent inside this church, and didn't rush us.

This church was absolutely beautiful and has a lot of history behind the building and maintenance of it. Well worth a visit. We stopped here on our tour of Jewish Quarters

The interior of this church is amazing, I don't think I've ever seen so much gold, we visited on a cold and dark February afternoon, which I'm sure was not the best time to see this place in it's full glory, we have seen many churches in former Eastern Block countries but in our view this one is possibly the... This impressive basilica in Kazimierz is a highly ornamental, almost rococo church building. It receives plenty of visitors, many delivered by the electric golf carts that ply the streets of Kraków. It is worth seeing but, if it wasn't kept quite so dark and gloomy, more if it would be seen!
