The bridge leads to famous Ostrów Tumski which itself makes it an attractive construction. It is also called "The Lovers Bridge", because couples put locks on it (the locks are signed with both their names) to manifest the strenght of their love. Apart from that,...More

This bridge has thousands of padlocks left by lovers , think it started here about 5 or 6 years ago unlike the more famous bridge of Seville which i believe originated the trend many years ago

Must see for everyone visiting Wroclaw. Oldest part of town not far from center. Recommended to do walking along river.

Head towards dusk to see the gas lamplighter in his glory. A beautiful stroll from the old town. Bring or a buy a lock to join the thousands of others.

what a delightful walk around this island for sure, spotlessly clean and full of interesting landmarks to visit and wonder at.

a short walk from the city centre where lovers put a padlock on the bridge and sign it with their names very romantic i recomend buying a lock and taking it with you from one of the hardware stores

Beautiful little bridge where coules tie their padlocks. Within walking distance from the town center, recommended while taking a walk to the islands.

This is a nice metal bridge with lots of locks attached to its metal bars. The view of the island from the bridge is quite nice.

Nice wee bridge over the Odra river. Plenty of padlocks on it. Gas lamps beside it. Nice place to take a picture.

I am now looking for a hotel in Budapest and then Krakow. Any suggestions?? Would like to be in the city center, close to sights. After this I plan to travel to Warsaw. Have been wondering if Gdansk is a must see. I would appreciate all comments!!!

Hello, I am planning to take a river cruise that ends up in Budapest. Would it be difficult to get to Krakow and spend a few days and do some tours there and then to Prague for several more days. We speak only English. Thank you for any assistance you can give!
