Went on a very hot day in Poznan. Caught the maltanka miniature train there from the park which was cool.
Large variety in animals, some which I didn't even know existed.
The grounds are very well cared for and so are the animals.
The place has vacated most of its animals but the ones remaining are in poor conditions and smell and look gravely neglected! The animals deserve more dignity!
The foxes had no space and the birds had nails so long and poor maintained they couldn't walk.
As someone else has mentioned, I think a lot of people have got confused and reviewed the new zoo here. This is the old Poznan zoo and is looking a little tired with quite a few empty cages. However it’s free to go in and...More
A lot of people on here have reviewed the wrong zoo! This is the Old Zoo not far from the centre. The said, it's free to get in and there's a small collection of animals (the bigger stuff has been moved to the new zoo,...More

I am not a fan of seeing animals in cages (you won't see me in the circus that has animals), but I really enjoyed visiting the zoo. Especially knowing that one of the bears has been taken away from the circus, getting treatments and getting...More
1st of all this place isn't easy to get too but don't let that put you off , you can get quite close if you use the tram but that involves a 15-20min walk to the zoo
I went at start of December and many...More
