Photoplasticon, was invented in Germany in the second half of the 19th century. Formerly a window on the world, now a worldwide phenomenon, a relic of the past and an unusual tourist attraction. The Warsaw Photoplasticon is unique as it's the only one in the...More

This is an old machine working like it was in the 20's. We just can imagine the wonder then when people watch this kind of 3D photos. Not to miss when visiting warsaw.

This was interesting but only if you're in the area. We were under the impression that this exhibit included over 5,000 photos with some photos of areas outside of Poland. However, we found that this exhibit has only 50 photos, all within the Warsaw area....More

This is a ‘quick visit’ kind of place. I do recommend it, especially if there is an interesting exhibit, such as old pictures of Warsaw. Unfortunately when we were there, the exhibit was not so interesting – old vacation photos in Africa.

Whilst this isn't an expensive item of interest it is a complete waste of time. Very few of the photographs are of Warsaw (surely that's the reason for it?) The staff are a miserable bunch who see customers as an inconvenience and there are far...More

This was such a quaint and unique experience, if you get a chance definitely go there! This type of thing should be funded :) A real blast from the past! I watched a photographic biography of a brilliant soldier who was famous, but the exhibitions...More
