Easy to find in the old town and very interesting place to stop by and visit. Probably not worth going out of your way to visit, but as its near the centre, its easy enough to find.

It is the arcebishop cathedral. It was completelly destroyed during world wae II but rebuilt with the efforts of the polish people. I find this very peculiar architectural style (specially the way they do the rooftops) interesting.

We visited the Cathedral of St. John's several times in December 2017 and January 2018 during our walks around Old Town. There is a lot of things to see inside the church. The altar had a copy of the Black Madonna. There is a crypt...More

The Archcathedral of St. John the Baptist is considered to be the main church of Warsaw’s old town. Some may even say that it is Poland's main church, but please don't tell that to the Krakowians... Construction began in 1390, with mayor extensions in the...More

Not a church to go out of your way to visit but if you are passing near you should visit. This was totally rebuild anew and not reconstructed as it was prior to WWII.

Visited on Wednesday 4th October. Just near the Old Town of Warsaw, from the outside it's not that special until you walk inside, take the time to see it for yourself.

Having been in poland for over a week and having seen churches on every street corner it is difficult to appreciate another one. This is a pity as I am sure that this cathedral had more to offer than we appreciated

Easily missed, this is an impressive and working house of worship. As it is situated on a narrow street, it is sometimes difficult to get an impression of the size. It is not a typical massive Gothic or Baroque tourist-oriented structure that you might see...More
