This Church is run by the Missionary Friars of St Vincent de Paul and has been destroyed and rebuilt several times going back to the 1500s. During WWII it was badly damaged, but rebuilt again between 1945 and 1953. Chopin's heart is actually buried here....More

This church is interesting as it has Chopin's heart buried in one of the church columns. Otherwise, it is just like a normal church- nothing special.

Apart from the Chopin's Heart it is worth to step in to the left side of the church to see the St Juda shrine - there is great collections of small metal plates that commemorise miracles that took place after prayer in this sanctuary.

A Wonderful church to visit, especially as Frederic Chopin's heart (in ashes) is held in an urn here.

Very lovely old church. Plus it is the final resting place of Chopin's heart. His body is in Paris but his heart will always be in Warsaw. So take a peaceful moment and reflect on things and give the church a visit.
