A street with beauty and a long history full of nice buildings, cafes, resteraunts and shops. Not to be missed by visitors to Warsaw, particularly at the weekend when it is traffic free. Often the site of parades, marches and various other events..

Nowy Swiat is a street that tries hard to be hip, trendy, and important. Instead, it’s outrageously overpriced and pretentious. The area from ul. Świętokrzyska to Aleje Jerozolimskie is lined with exorbitantly priced eateries and is bustling with young people. It’s also the place where...More

Nowy Swiat is a pleasant street to walk, if not anything particularly exciting or beautiful. However it does have one particular highlight with a number of small bars just off of the street behind numbers 22/24/26 if I recall - definitely worth hunting out if...More

I suppose that I should have been more impressed with this Street that had been devastated during World War Two. However, it was hard to be too impressed as it seemed very ordinary even though it had been totally rebuilt. Everything still seemed very drab.

Check it out! Best food, cafes and bars. At Dawne Smaki you can enjoy a traditional polish dinner with a plentiful cold starter selection.

We were lucky and it was sunny throughout our visit, and the street was devoid of cars and full of people strolling, and cyclists. Lovely! Lots of cafes, and if you are into shopping, then this is a place for you to part with some...More

This is a very charming, authentic street, worth walking along. As you do, walk into some side streets, like Foksal, and stop at one of the many charming restaurants for a coffee, cocktail, or something to eat. In the summer life goes on here until...More

This is a nice street for shopping. It is pedestrian only so parking is challenging. There are all the major stores and some really great restaurants. We used to go fairly often, but the amount of beggars is out of control. If the weather is...More

Depends where do you stay, but there is no possibility to park directly on Nowy Swiat. Better leave the car and walk or take mass transportation bus, tram or metro.
