Sad period in time, this monument really makes you stop and think. We took Behind the Scenes tour where we went past this monument and learned of the history behind it.

The statue itself is nice, but offcourse it's more about what the statue stands for: the losses of child soldiers during the Warsaw Uprising. The statue is nicely located at the Warsaw Old Town city walls.

Located at the outer wall of the Barbican, which is the New Town but older than the Old Town.... Worth a look as you're passing.

The statue is tiny and we nearly missed it as we walked by. Only saw it as thee were crowds of people there. It's pretty crazy to think people so young ending up fighting in a war

The Little Girl of Warsaw stands there so sweet with her flowers. She had a heart of gold even though it was built of stone.
