Located only a few minutes walk from the Old Town the Monument to the Warsaw Uprising Fighters is one of the better monuments I've seen in Europe. It's well worth the visit if you have some free time in Warsaw.

Just outside the museum , in the spacious stands this place. look around and think about what inhuman did to this great nation.

Maybe I would be not so interested in monument, unless I would know something more about it. This is one of objects which you will see during walking tours. Whit historical details any object-monument became more important and memorable.

Such a huge monument, as a big reminder of tragedy of Warsaw Uprising collapsed....Show how brave Polish people were and how proud they are that as only one nation during WW II did not cooperate with the Nazi Germany, more, they fought like no one...More

The two monuments to the Warsaw Uprising are very well done and really a "must-see" for anyone visiting Warsaw. We will follow up tomorrow and visit the Warsaw Uprising Museum to gain a fuller understanding of what transpired here in Warsaw in 1944.

After touring the museum of the Uprising, we had to see this monument to the bravery and determination of a brutalized people. The monument is huge, intricate and expressive! A true memorial to the brave people of Poland!
