Lovely journey to the island on one of the small boats from the lake shore. An hour is enough to see everything - the lovely church, the bell tower, the views etc. Excellent and high quality gift shop and superb ice-cream!

Took the pietna (unique rowl boat) to the island with the church. Climbed up the steps for photos, all in all, finished in about 20 minutes. The tourist train might be a better way to spend your euros.

The boatride towards the island was very relaxing with great all around views of the lake. The island itself is quite boring, not much to do or to see. 15min is enough to see it all :)

You must go to Lake Bled for the River Cruise and get to try the Bled cream cake. Amazing Scenery and it was such nice memory to be in Slovenia

This is a small island in lake Bled reached by boat. Apart from the church you get good views of Villa Bled and the rest of the lakeside.

Traditional boatman will take you out to and bring you back from the island for €14. Make sue that you ring the bell in the church and make a wish whilst there.

We were told this is the only island in Slovenia. We found the steps to the top of the island to be challenging, but the view at the top was amazing. Go into the church and ring the bell and make a wish.

As the other answer said - it is doable with a stroller but there are a lot of stairs up to the church and when walking around the bottom of the island there are quite a few bumps and tree roots etc. Once you're up the... More

Hi there! Skating in the lake is free for everyone. Even better if you have your own skates so you don't need to rent. But please ask the locals on which side is best to skate. The good point is if you go to "Villa Bled... More
