We went there at 8.30 as we were adviced in trip advisor and we did right. Indeed, when we arrived there was no line to get the tickets and we were able to walk along the way quite alone (we were able to take pictures)....More

Definitely worthwhile to visit, or even a must-visit location if you are in Slovenia. We rented a car and it took about 1 hour from Ljubljana city center. We tried to leave early to avoid crowds but it was rather crowded anyway when we arrived...More

The bus ride from bled is €1 pay on bus and takes around 15 mins from main station. Entrance fee is €5 for adult and €4 for students. The water is so turquoise is crystal clear that's mesmerizing. Path is a bit narrow so only...More

Lovely place, walkable, walking distance from Bled (preferably by bike). We've taken the long route back through the forest from the dam back to the parking lot - very beautiful rural and mountain scenery.

In high season it is very touristy and there can be traffic jams on the walking trails, but there is a reason for that - the area is gorgeous. However, rather than walking the same way back (as most do), I would recommend doing the...More

We approached Vintgar twice. There is a narrow road leading to it but they allow buses to go through. On day 1 a bus got stuck in the road and after 15 minutes waiting we turned back. On day 2 we went early (we were...More

We were there on the top season and this is only problem we had. Too much tourists. We were waiting for tickets 45 minutes. But it's worth it. Very beautifull nature. Very clean water. Outside the forest was 35 degrees celsius, and inside the gorge-...More

Vintgar Gorge is just a few miles north of Bled. The Gorge itself has sheer rock walls. A walking trail in the form of a wooden trail has been built on the side of the Gorge and leads to a waterfall after 1.6 kilometer. While...More

There are signs at the end but they are not very obvious. You need to go to the right hand side of the kiosk then branch up the hill through the woods. It’s beautiful near the church. It doesn’t go back to the parking lot... More

Yes you can. Have fun. The circular walk back via the church might be quite muddy as you go through the woods though.
