Make sure that you visit this gorge if you are in the area. The boardwalks are a little crowded when passing people the experience is breath-taking.

We hiked the gorge with kids on a nice summer day. The views are very nice, and the walk is easily hiked by a 6 years old. There are several places where you can go off the trail to picnic or just sit and relax. The only downside is that being a "must see" the gorge is _packed_ with tourists.... More

Best after rain when the river is in full flood. On a good day it is quite busy with tourists but it is still exciting to walk through the Gorge. Lots of great photo opportunities as the river races through the narrow gorge with several waterfalls

This is a well known gem in the Bled area. Visit only on sunny days - rain makes the path slippery. In the high season arrive before 9:30 AM to avoid big crowds. The round trip may be completed in two hours or less and is suitable almost to anyone .The combination of trees, slopes, clear water, sounds and crisp... More

Try to make the round trip (2 h) to avoid going up and down the same route. Better go in spring since more water should be filling the river.

The girge is beautiful but all the rest is terrible.toilets are old and dirty, so are the spots where tickets and drinks are sold.parking is confused and not really suitable for ordinary slightly lowered cars.staff in the only restaurant nearby is unfriendly, the path and the fences in the gorge are quite old.but people (tourists mkstly) not knowing how to... The best time to visit the gorge is early in the morning before the crowds and coach parties arrive. We caught the 8.30am bus from Bled and had the gorge almost to ouselves. It was very beautiful and plenty of stunning photograph opportunities. The board walk is narrow but perfectly easy to walk along. It took us a while to... More

This place is one of the "must see" places. The path beside the running water the bridges over the water falls are amazing. We've been there with kids and they enjoyed the walk too.

We visited later in the day 3pm - but could have waited a bit longer as crowds from busses still there which makes it difficult to pass along some of the narrow walkways . We drove from Bled and it was tricky for the GPS because of all the road closures due to roadworks The gorge is really beautiful and... More
