This is a lovely church and is very serene. However, the most alluring part of the structure are the doors by which you enter, which are hugely decorated and ornate.

A very fine building well worth a visit. We went in during a guided tour of the City. It had been well adorned for Christmas with a nice nativity scene.

A Baroque pleasure in the old town section of Ljubljana, Slovenia. The cathedral ceiling is reminiscent of Pozzo's work in Rome. Well worth a visit.

One of the highlights of a visit to the Old Town of Ljubljana. This attractive old cathedral is in very good condition with plenty to admire inside and out. A good escape from the cold weather if you're visiting in winter months!

Entered by one of two fascinating cast metal doors, it is beautifully decorated inside and is a little area of calm in a busy City.

Take a peak at the wildly intricate bronze doors of this church which portray Slovenia’s religious history. Then, take a free step inside and marvel at the arched ceilings lined with frescos that pop next to the surrounding white crown molding–all centering around a lavish gold chandelier.
