My partner and I went last October to Piran and Portorose for a long weekend after having heard positive recommendations from friends. The walls of the city are located at its back, they overlook the entire city and the sea and you can easily reach...More

If you are in Piran for a few days I would recommend climbing to the top of the Town Walls. You get a fantastic view over the town and beyond

One of the most beautiful medieval parts of the port city. I realy advise you to go see the church on top of the hill because you can see the whole of Piran in general

For 2 euros it's a cheap attraction but it offers an amazing view of the city if you climb up all the stairs. There's a car park quite close to it as well, so you only have to walk 2 mins from your car.

This place offers the signature view of Piran that I'm sure I have seen on covers of Slovenia guidebooks and magazines. And at 2 euros for an adult ticket I found it very reasonable. You will be able to see a large portion of the...More

For 2 euros it's worth the walk up to see. Once you're on the wall you have a great view of the town and water.
