This was my highlight from Budapest. I booked this 12 months ago for 12 people and it was amazing. We cooked 6 gorgeous dishes between 12 people. It was very organised and well prepared. We had such a good time and a good giggle. Our teachers were so helping and very patient and spoke very good English. I would highly... More

My husband and I did the basic three hour course and were the only ones there. Sylvie was very friendly and it showed the authenticity of the school when she made comments like, "This is how my grandmother made this dish." She also offered a taste of palinca and, after we mentioned wanting to try the famous Tocaji wines while... More

I've had lots of international cooking school experience and this one stands out as one of the most enjoyable. Numbers are kept low to maximize time with the Chef. What's described below highlights the Premium Experience (*). While I was completely satisfied with the extras it provided, others who opted to just participate in the regular program seemed equally pleased.... More

My sister and I were in Budapest for her birthday. We both love to cook and she found ChefParade. Our Chef was Barbara (a/ka Barbi). She was very personable, funny, informative and encouraging. We made a soup with paprika, sausages and sauerkraut. We added a dollop of sour cream to our bowls. We also made chicken paprikash and a pastry... More

This was one activity offered, as part of a several-day tour of Budapest - so instead of their usual 3 hours they did the class (including our eating of the results) in 1-1/2 hours. Nevertheless they did a fantastic job. The kitchen is beautiful, and the ingredients and instructions are first class. We were divided into teams and each team... More

If you like to cook, like to know new things, and is staying in Budapest, this is the place that you must know and go. The kitchen is beautiful, the ingredients are fresh and delicious and the teacher and the team from there are very kind and polite. I loved everything, from the beggining to the end, and the dishes... More

We have planned several relaxing activities to get to know Hungary better after the amazing but exhausting Sziget Festival and this was one of them. We have decided to take the class together with the breakfast and tour of the market. It was easily the highlight of our holiday! Hungarian cuisine is very tasty and learning how to prepare these... This crowd is hilarious. The 'headman' is a Scot and our instructor looked like a younger version of Kirstie Alley. For a team building activity but also as a visitor it was just great fun. We got to make the apple strudel and looked like real professionals with the end result. If you love cooking and even if you are... More

WOW!! This was definitely the highlight of our trip! I love cooking and so does my 9 year old daughter and I thought this was a neat idea to try in Budapest. First of all the staff is amazing and helpful, the kitchen is clean and spacious, the ingredients were of quality and extremely fresh, and the assortment of wines... More
