It all went wrong from the same beginning. First we tried to contact the club in order to book a table, but they just didn't reply, so we had to waste our time and go there in the morning to book the table. The girl at the bar told us that at 9 p.m. they were going to have a... More

This is a very nice place to visit. Good beer, friendly service and a good atmosphere with great music (if you're in to jazz). Even if you're not a big jazz fan - it is well worth a visit for a quick drink then on to somewhere else. Beautiful building in a good area out of the hustle and bustle... More

Made it to the jam session on a Friday night, not knowing what to expect and was pleasantly surprised! Very laid back and cool, not snooty in the slightest. We arrived at 11:30 and found seats no problem. The drinks were very reasonable and the staff was friendly and the music was great!

We booked on line for the late night Jazz experience on New Years Eve. We arrived early to check out the venue. It was not what we were expecting for a new year celebration evening. The swing band performing were excellent but the atmosphere disappointing. On arrival we decided the club was not for us, we found a bar close... More

I am very happy that I had a chance to visit the place. I went to a concert which was quite good and then I went to the restaurant where they had a jam session. It was like having private musicians for dinner (good ones too). The food was also surprisingly good for a music club.

Came here with my travelling compadre after finding the jazz club on one of the maps, we chilled out skyped a friend back home and had 3 or 4 long island ice teas each. It was quite the classy affair it was here that the night spiraled into our messiest night in Budapest. So to that i have to say... More

I like jazz and would tolerate alot for it, but the service is slow and let it down. I ordered there drinks that night, the third was particularly horrible. One of my orders was mixed up but they fixed that pretty quickly. Loved the homemade crisps and the music was on pointe. For these reasons I would still come back,... More

This is a classic jazz club, so expect simple seating and fantastic music. We are visiting Budapest so had booked a table for the concert, and our booking was dealt with swiftly and efficiently. Drinks were reasonably priced and queues for the bar not too bad. Staff helpfully got us a taxi after the gig. So we had a great... More

This place looks just like I imagined a Jazz Club - who needs comfy chairs/sofas in a place like this? You can actually feel the ambience of the old times. When I was there I was lucky to listen to Baris Gábor Quartet - nice, moody jazz. I really rested in this place.
