A club where you can drink and dance every night. Friendly staff, moderate prices, a mixture of modern and 30s' design in a renovated Art Nouveau building of an old copper factory.

This is essentially a large garden bar with lots of places to sit and shelter in case it rains. It was spacious and comfortable for larger groups. The drinks were cheap and service was quick. Nothing special but good for larger groups. There was also an inside area attached but we didn't go inside, it was all about being outside!

The place is just good to have a beer if you like Soproni or Edelweiss. Nothing special, but sou also can trust. Ask for Túrós rétes drink :-)

Easily my favourite bar in the party district. Awesome decor, the place is spacious and in my opinion much more friendly than the other pubs in the vicinity. The garden area is also lovely. Prices are all right, compared to the great location.

Interesting bar in the heart of the action Visited in August so sat in the beer garden, though the interior was very interesting Great place for a couple of drinks, we found the staff a bit hit and miss

I had just arrived in Budapest, and went here for a quick drink before dinner. Not familiar with the currency, I laid what I thought was close to the amount the bartender was asking for on the counter. The bartender took the money and behaved as if those "few extra forints" I'd laid out was his tip. I only later... More

Bar staff had no sense of urgency despite huge crowds forming. I also saw them try to milk the last out of a barrel by taking more than 5 minutes repeatedly waiting for head to settle trying to squeeze out an extra glass of lager. The cheapest 0.5l here was 520 Forints, which isn't that cheap. Go to Szimpla Kert... More

Had a great time at this bar as they have a huge outdoors area with lots of people and a lot of fun! I'm usually not a big fan of these kind of urban places but this one has some crazy good vibes! The location is amazing too as there are many other bars, clubs and restaurants in the area!

The ruin pubs in Budapest are all fantastic, but we were attracted to this place because of its enormous outdoor courtyard. When we got inside we realised there was a lot more to it than its exterior suggests. The bar area is lit by upside trumpets with spotlights fed through them, there are multi coloured paintings of chameleons on the... More

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
