Beautiful place with lots to see. They are currently doing some renovations so all the seating has been pulled out. Take a tour with a guide to hear about the history.

We did not attend a concert here, but we did stop by to see the public areas, and it is gorgeous. There is an outdoor cafe and cute gift shop, too.

Not aware of any construction. As another traveller says, the very impressive building opposite is covered in scaffolding and there may be confusion between the two.

I unfortunately don't know...
