Located on the banks of the Danube, the age old architecture is truly remarkable. A great vantage point is from a Danube River cruise which is offered free when a hop-on, hop-off bus tour is purchased. danube river cruise

Beautiful building with lovely river views, but perhaps better seen from afar- almost no need to get up close!

This is the largest parliament building in Europe. The chamber is magnificent. Notice the beautiful cigar holders in all of the hallways around the chamber. Use a guide because there is a lot of history in this building.

Parliament building - second largest in world - to British Houses of Parliament - architecturally magnificent - using English designs - took 1000 workers 15 years to build - fabulous view from river or Castle Hill (Buda)

The building is amazing, enriched with carpets, statues and frescos. During the tour you can see half of the building and a no-photo zone where you can admire the King's treasures.

A very good guided tour of the Hungarian Parliament building. Knowledgeable guide, with excellent English language delivered via radio headsets. Photos are allowed, except for the 'Crown Jewels' - essentially the 1,000 year old royal crown. Good value for money, especially the huge discount for...More
