This is a great memorial and well worth a visit when in Budapest. Whilst here you are very near the Vajdahunyad castle which is also worth a visit. As you look at the monument the castle and grounds are behind it to the right.

This is quite an impressive monument with a large square in front of it. The first time you walk up to it is quite inspiring. Did not expect it to be so impressive

The square has history and has impressive monuments that reflect its history and 12,000 square meters . The art gallery and other impressive buildings accompany the square. Not really a must see place.

Well, you have to visit here if you visiting Budapest. I walked here from my apartment which took around 15 minutes. Nice neighbourhoods so no issues with safety or anything. Arrived at the square which is huge! Not too busy either so I got some...More

Great place, loads of history. The statues are really detailed. It's in a really central location which is handy. You wouldn't spend long here but you can come here in passing to other places. It's a must see definitely.

A must-see in Budapest--magnificent statues of Hungary's most important historical figures. You don't have to spend a lot of time there, but don't miss it.

Located at the end of Andrassy avenue (where all the high end shopping stores are), this is an impressive square. Flanked on either side by arts museums, and the Millenium underground station, this is another must see in Budapest. Further down the road is also...More

Good for photography. Large square that bus tours drop off in. Glad to see it, though a prime tourist spot.

The square will be open - it's open air like Trafalgar Sq in London hasn't got loads to take in for a long time. More a tick off. Galleries/museums by it probably closed at that time, park behind will be open but not all... More
