Take the bus as it is a hill climb and you will be rewarded with the most amazing view of Budapest. The view of the bridges over the Danube is simply stunning and great to see the Statue of Liberty close up.

You can't get in here as my tourquide said so you can only look it it. Of course the bathrooms are in it. You can see the bullet holes in the walls still.

The highest point in Budapest, next to the Danube, on the Buda side gives you an excellent view of the city. It is worth going there during daytime and in the evening as well.

Beautiful place to visit. If you go to budapest you have to go there. But be careful with some "hungarian street food" shops there. They are trying to cheat you paying 20 eur for 1 potato pancake...

We travelled to the Citadel by bus but walked the final stretch, the panoramic views are fantastic. There are numerous souvenir stalls and a few reasonable eating places along the way.
