Budget about 1 hour to see Liszt's apartment, filled with info and his things. Especially interesting are his various pianos: one for composing, one for traveling, etc. Do NOT confuse this museum with the Academy of Music itself. The museum is around the corner and...More

As I lifelong fan of Franz Liszt, I enjoyed this little two-room museum on the second floor of the Liszt Academy, but I would rate it only average for the general public.

A small but excellent museum showing pianos, musical scores, photos, furniture and books belonging to Franz Liszt. Both the audio guide and detailed written explanations were clear and informative. I would have liked a more detailed explanation of the music itself.

A little (probably a bit too little) museum about a great composer. It was interesting, though, since I wasn't that familiar with him before. However, probably not worth it's price for others than classical music enthusiasts.
