The Danube cruise is an excellent way of seeing many of the city's main sights. We opted for the 5pm departure which enabled us to see the city at twilight and after dark as it returned around 6-30pm. Drinks are served on board and there is a commentary. Buy a ticket from the Big Bus Company which is around €25... More

Booked an experience of dinner and cruise and it was a lovely way to spend a couple of hours. There was a band, drink and the buffet food was really good. Pictures could be taken on the back of the boat... well worth doing this at night - the lights are amazing.

If you like walking for long hours you will love the side of Danube. Along it there are the most of beautiful buildings of Pest and every are in the nice night light. And if you are hungry it's a perfect place cos there are a lot of restaurants and bars with fine view.

Beautiful to cruise the Danube at night. Highly recommend a boat tour. We took the 6:30 pm tour on Legenda. Had a great video with narration to explain what you were seeing.

What a fantastic way to see the beautiful buildings of Budapest... Cruising along the river on an open topped boat listening to the history of Budapest and enjoying the scenery. Trip was part of the roving tourist hop on hop off bus ticket which was excellent value for money

We took a boat trip for 2 hrs up and down the river, it was an eye opener to the city and river. The Danube is a most interesting and historical river with wonderful views of many historical buildings and landmarks. It was pleasant although mid winter and there was ice on the river it all added to the experience.... More

This is a river, it is a particularly wide river! Flowing between Buda and Pest in Budapest. It really is a must see! Hard to miss with great views and no entry fee, any trip to Budapest would definitely be incomplete without a visit here.

The rich history and amazing castle and parliament along the Danube are some of the most amazing building constructed in the world.
