For beer lovers

Real local. Good price and good food but the queue was long and it did not seem to have a system to keep track of which customers came first.

The decor is a little strange in places. But very entertaining at the same time. The music on the evening we visited was great and the drinks were reasonably priced. It was a great starter for our evening out

This place was recommended by our Airbnb hosts. We went there for lunch on our first day in Prague. We thought it was excellent! Good food and good beer. The decor is like a true "beer hall", minimalist, but really good. Wait staff was fast and easy to communicate with (for English speakers). We tried to go back for dinner... More

This should have been submitted a while ago. Saved it by accident. Great bar. Cheap drinks and swing music in full swing! Great atmosphere.

Wandered in here on a recent Tuesday because we could hear the music from the street. The band was incredible - vocalist/trumpet, trombone, banjo, drums - loved them! And from the way the crowd was dancing, they did as well. Cheap drinks were also very much appreciated. It was warm inside and very crowded but there was plenty of room... More

We started our tour of the ruin bars with this place. I liked the terrace and the drinks were cheap and cold. Good, funky music as well.

Dob street is a newly discovered street in Budapest, new places are opening and more people come here. We have celebrated some birthdays here, staff was nice and allowed to bring cakes, etc. prices are reasonable and selections are good. As nowdays trendy, this bar is furnitured with old random stuff so even if you just stop by for a... More

Haven't experienced the bar, but the restaurant. The food was fairly good and the price was great. Do experience some of the dumplings (potato and flour) and soup was great as well as other dishes. Worth ordering few dishes to sample. I wouldn't bother with dessert.

the bar itself would be not that bad. well there are way nicer once in budapest, but it's a nice bar. BUT take care... there can be barkeepers which are really rude and try to scam you. Why were there on a pub crawl and got coupons for gin tonic and shots. well there was a huge amount of people... More

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
