Perhaps a bit more run down than other baths in Budapest, but still beautiful and a welcome break from the crowds. We rented a cabin, and had no issues borrowing towels as well. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming, and we were able to...More

Definitely our favorite thing in Budapest! Kiraly Baths is really old thermal spa. It is really beautiful and relaxing. We felt like new born when finishing. Really quiet at the middle of a day, no other tourists, just some locals bathing with us. Definitely will...More

We loved our time at the Kiraly Baths! Initially we walked right past the baths as the are not really marked, since this is more of a local thing to do. I did recognize the run down exterior by the pictures I had seen on...More

It's from 1500 something and it smells like it... it's authentic but don't expect much. Prices are fair.

Oldest thermal bath, not big, much atmosphere, beautifull ambiance, not expensive, must see when you visit Budapest

Excellent place for a traditional experience. Is not very touristy and therefore quieter. Plenty of changing faculties and reasonably priced, especially if a student. Would recommend.

Excellent place to go for a local and relaxing experience. Place isn't too crowded and the Turkish vibes are also a plus!

The Kiraly baths are stunning in their old worldliness. The little windows above the main bath is so beautiful and the roughened stone walls absolutely charming. I loved the steam room followed by a dive into the cool pool. On the contrast, the service is...More

Yes and unlike the hot springs in Japan and Korea, you will have to wear a bathing suit. Flip flops highly recommended.
