This city park is east of the river Danube. Heroes Square marks the main entrance to the park. In the park are some noteworthy attractions such as Vajdahunyad Castle, the Agricultural museum, the Budapest zoo, and Szechnyi thermal baths. It also will be the future home of the transport museum. I visited the park on a cold February day and... More

Before leaving to Budapest, Korea was already getting close to winter. However, this peaceful park, located in Northeastern part of Budapest, made me to feel like sting being in Autumn. I recommend to walk around here before heading to the spa.

The famous bath house on your left and the Vajdahunyad Castle on your right. In September the trees were all full, plenty of grassy area and flowers and shrubs throughout. The area... More

Such a beautiful park, especially during this time of year. All the trees look amazing and it's incredibly scenic.

Nice, big park adjacent to the Heroes square. Couple of mini lakes, much things to see and a great nature makes it truly a gem and a perfect place to relax and unwind.

Rest in peace one of the coolest retro places that have survived corporations and crazy new digital world for such a long time but sadly not any more. I will remember great fun moments from Vidam park and regret that my children won't get to go there too.

The Park "starts" at the Heroes' Square, and continues on a vast area behind it. Enjoy the beautiful buildings at the front and the beautiful greenery all around the park. The Zoo is also a part of the park, but you can also find a lot of beautiful buildings that contain museums, as well as a famous bath (a part... More
