Hey we visitedvthis lace as a group after reading awesome reviews. Honestly? Living around the place I tgought it was way overpriced for what it is. Really nice location with incredible sardinian wine. You can taste the really sardinia lamb food. And the best honey dessert.
Near to the inner city and river Danube, only a short walk from "Vámház tér" or "Ferenciak tere" stations. Very friendly stuff (barman and waiters), perfect foods in the "old sailing ship"... I am 100% sure that you would enjoy your staying there!
If you want something special, check this pub out. The pub is like an old sailing ship. The barman is outstanding and although we visited on a Sunday Night - most nights they provide live music. We will be back to check it out again... Also, the prices of drinks are very reasonable. They also provide food - we did... More
A brilliant place to go, this became our "local" while in Budapest. It had a great atmosphere, had live bands on and also showed top English football games but don't let this put you off it wasn't full of "rowdies". It also has an excellent range of beers and whiskies.
Arriving in Budapest on a very wet December Saturday evening the Fregatt was a welcome shelter just yards from our hotel Bohem Art. Very busy but they still rustled up some filling baguettes for us old timers. Our first Hungarian beers and wines were enjoyed here in warmth, comfort and a lively atmosphere.
Very relaxed atmosphere. We saw a local Blues band and the crowd that night were obviously live music lovers. Concert room was fairly small with a separate bar for those not watching the band. Decor is a mixture of nautical and music.
Loved this pub. Visited twice, a live band on the first night and NYE DJ the second. The place was very busy as you'd expect on NYE but we were really well looked after by the staff. Decent range of beers. Sad that it's not our local.
