The Valley has taken the Austrian Weinstraße to a new level. It is a beautiful park, with a multitude of weinkellers, and street-food vendors. Seemingly a perfect tourist trap...However, if you are careful, it's fantastic. There are only two weinekellers to visit and to taste....More

A popular drink among college kids is Pepsi and red wine, mixed. The people are amazing. I love Hungary so much. Amazing memories.

Try the smaller family wine cellars on the left side of the valley. It is great to visit this place in september-october as fresh grape juice is offered.

There are over 40 tasting rooms in a very easy to walk horseshoe. #14 was exquisite. However the rose from #16 is the best I've ever had. Afterwards - have a meal outside at the Kulacs Csarda Panzio - best restaurant in Hungary!

We came primarily for a group wine tasting and then dinner. The proprietors of the wine cellars were helpful. It was interesting and appeared to be a great place for a romantic or especially social outing.

Some wine cellars are definitely better than others though. In particular, I would recommend the #47 Toth Ferenc cellar as being one of the best. Great to visit at night.

Basically, they'll take anybody, anytime. Business is business and most of the time they're glad for any they can get. You won't be turned away.

Hi, I think that this is not the best time to visit this place beacause there is deep winter in Europe and also in Eger...maybe even 10 degrees of cold. Even the wineries are open after all cool wine tastes better in warm... More
